Owner and Event Specialist Bonne' Bouchard Summers is the former co-owner of Apex Events and Communications. Her career also includes work as the Director of Special Events/Projects and Director of Artspace for the Shreveport Regional Arts Council, as Director of Marketing for Pierremont Mall, and as Director of Marketing for The Neurology and Sleep Clinic.

She has also served as a volunteer over the years in such organizations as the Shreveport-Bossier Military Affairs Council, the YWCA Board of Directors, the Shreveport Women’s Commission, the Line Avenue Merchants Association Board, and as a charter member of the Krewe de les Femmes Mystique. Summers has received numerous awards for her business and civic service including five PRIDE Awards from the Shreveport-Bossier Convention & Tourist Bureau, the 2008 HERA Award from the Shreveport Women’s Commission, the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce VIVA Award, and Addy awards from the Shreveport-Bossier Advertising Federation.

Summers holds a Bachelor of Science, English & Biology degree from Texas Woman’s University and a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Louisiana State University Shreveport. She has shared her talent for creating effective events in conjunction with marketing campaigns as a guest lecturer for several local, state and national organizations.
